Adult Day Health Care - Program ServicesRehabilitative TherapyOccupational, physical and speech therapy are provided by licensed professionals when prescribed by a physician and based upon assessed need. Alzheimer's/DementiaA specialized program in a safe, secure environment, caring for individuals with early through late stage dementia. Nursing CareRegistered nurses are on staff, caring for a wide spectrum of medical needs. Social ServicesA social worker is utilized to ensure that each participant and his/her family has proper access to services needed to resove any personal or social problems. Services available include individual and group counseling, family counseling, and referral to community agencies. Recreational ActivitiesActivities such as group outings, crafts, games, and music are provided. Participation is based on participants' needs and desires. Nutritional ServicesA mid-morning snack and a nutritious hot meal at lunch time are included. Dietary counseling is available to participants. TransportationSafe door-to-door transportation to and from ADHC is available, whether in a wheelchair, with a walker, or for a participant who lives alone and is unable to drive.
