Employment - Licensed and Registered Medical PositionsRespiratory Therapist (AKA Respiratory Care Practitioner) full and per diem – The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing medically prescribed respiratory care programs designed to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. The RT is expected to provide respiratory care to all patients across the life span. Additionally, he/she must be able to perform diagnostic testing. Current license in the State of California required. Minimum of 3 years recent acute care experience preferred. Certified Physical Therapist/Sports Med & Rehab – Assesses patients’ medical status/functional loss and establishes and implements a plan of treatment that provides for achievement of optimum level of function using sound judgment and psychological sensitivity. Maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy with certificate, BS, MS, or PhD, and be eligible for licensing or licensed by the State of California. Physical Therapist –Home Health/full time – The Home Health Physical Therapist assesses patients and their medical status/functional loss and establishes and implements a plan of care that provides for achievement of optimum level of function using sound judgment and psychological sensitivity within a health care team model. He/she maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development. Clinical Lab Scientist-full time/per diem-The Clinical Laboratory Specialist is responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of the basic theories, principles and practices of Clinical Laboratory Science and a working knowledge of the literature and current developments in the field of Clinical Laboratory Science. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist must provide direct and constant supervision of all non-licensed personnel. Surgical tech-part time/per diem- Under the direction of the registered nurse, the Surgical Technician functions as the scrub person during surgical intervention and technical assistant during GI/pulmonary endoscopy procedures. Manages the sterile field and/or other technical instrumentation and equipment. Must have a minimum 1 year experience as a scrub person in an acute care hospital or outpatient facility. Occupational Therapist/Home Health-Administers and directs the administration and rehabilitation for homebound patients as prescribed by a referring physician through the MRCH Home Health Service. Must be a graduate of a professional training program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Radiology Technologist (per diem) RAD Tech/CT (part time) MRI Tech (per diem) – Operates diagnostic equipment, develops film, prepares the exam room, supplies, and contrast media for use in imaging procedures, and is responsible for the well-being of the patient while in the Radiology Department. The technologist is also responsible for transporting the patient and for general secretarial duties within Radiology. Monitor Techician-per diem Responsible for the continuous observation and monitoring of cardiac rhythms for all critical care and telemetry patients. Responsible for the detection of cardiac arrthymia’s and communication of changes to the registered nurse. And responsible for the interpretation and documentation of cardiac rhythms per department standards Dietician (Per Diem) - Responsible for the nutritional care of all in-patients throughout the life cycle, including development and documentation of nutrition care plans, monitoring and evaluation of menus for special diets. Maintaining the diet manual, participating in In-service training of hospital employees, participation in committee activities concerned with nutritional care of patients and nutrition education of patients, employees and the community. Outpatient nutrition counseling; and, when appropriate, conduction group nutrition classes, and development of appropriate nutrition education teaching materials. Must have a minimum of a BA or BS degree from a 4 yr. accredited college or university coursework approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE), completions of a CADE accredited supervised practice program or AP4 Program and current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (may be hired temporarily for 6 months until ADA test take and passed.) Clinical medical nutrition therapy experience preferred. Phlebotomist- per diem The phlebotomist assists in the operation of the laboratory by obtaining specimens, accessioning laboratory tests in LIS, preparing specimens for transport, and maintaining supplies. Must have phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or the equivalent, and current CPR certification. Computer skills are desirable.
