Employment - Licensed and Registered Medical Positions

 

Certified Physical Therapist-full time/per diem/part time – Assesses patients’ medical status/functional loss and establishes and implements a plan of treatment that provides for achievement of optimum level of function using sound judgment and psychological sensitivity.  Maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.  Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy with certificate, BS, MS, or PhD, and be eligible for licensing or licensed by the State of California. 

Physical Therapist-Home Health per diem – The Home Health Physical Therapist assesses patients and their medical status/functional loss and establishes and implements a plan of care that provides for achievement of optimum level of function using sound judgment and psychological sensitivity within a health care team model.  He/she maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development. 

Clinical Lab Scientists (CLS)(full time)-The Clinical Laboratory Specialist is responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of the basic theories, principles and practices of Clinical Laboratory Science and a working knowledge of the literature and current developments in the field of Clinical Laboratory Science. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist must provide direct and constant supervision of all non-licensed personnel.

Radiology Technologist-full time, part time or per diem – Operates diagnostic equipment, develops film, prepares the exam room, supplies, and contrast media for use in imaging procedures, and is responsible for the well-being of the patient while in the Radiology Department.  The technologist is also responsible for transporting the patient and for general secretarial duties within Radiology.

Ultrasound Tech

Surgical Technician – Under the direction of the registered nurse, the Surgical Technician functions as the scrub person during surgical intervention and technical assistant during GI/pulmonary endoscopy procedures.  Manages the sterile field and/or other technical instrumentation and equipment.  Must have a minimum 1 year experience as a scrub person in an acute care hospital or outpatient facility.
