Employment - Licensed Medical PositionsClinical Lab Scientist (CLS) - The Clinical Laboratory Specialist is responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of the basic theories, principles and practices of Clinical Laboratory Science and a working knowledge of the literature and current developments in the field of Clinical Laboratory Science. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist must provide direct and constant supervision of all non-licensed personnel. Certified Home Health Aide -Provides hands-on personal care for the clinically ill, convalescent and/ or disabled patient, assists in ambulation or exercises, assists with medications that are ordinarily self-administered and general household services to promote and maintains a safe, clean environment which will facilitate the patient's self-care at home. Current California home health aide certification required. LVN, Home Health - The Home Health LVN has basic nursing knowledge, a repertoire of service-driven and patient-oriented interpersonal skills, and maintains standards of care for home health services within the framework of the philosophy and objectives of the Home Health Service Department. The Home Health LVN furnishes services in accordance with agency policies under a plan of care, prepares clinical and progress notes, assists the physician and registered nurse in performing specialized procedures, prepares equipment and materials for treatments observing aseptic technique as required, and assists the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques. This position demands emotional stability conducive to dealing with a high stress level for 8-10 hours at a time associated with fast-paced responsibilities, rapidly changing priorities, creative problem solving, emotional demands of patients and their families. Must possess a current LVN CA license, CPR certification and California driver's license. Possess a reliable car, with safe driving skills, and current auto insurance. Experience in home health is desirable and a minimum of one year of experience as a LVN is required. Phlebotomist – The phlebotomist assists in the operation of the laboratory by obtaining specimens, accessioning laboratory tests in LIS, preparing specimens for transport, and maintaining supplies. Must have phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or the equivalent, and current CPR certification. Computer skills are desirable. Physical Therapist, Home Health - The Home Health Physical Therapist assesses patients and their medical status/functional loss and establishes and implements a plan of care that provides for achievement of optimum level of function using sound judgment and psychological sensitivity within a health care team model. He/she maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development. Must be eligible for licensing or is already licensed in by the State of California. Physical Therapist Assistant (Certified), Home Health - Assists the Physical Therapist in providing medically prescribed Physical Therapy treatments to restore function and prevent disability in home health setting. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be able to function in an independent manner and will be responsible to the supervising Home Health Physicla Therapist. Must be eligible for licensing or is already licensed in by the State of California. Radiology Department Manager - Responsible for the management of the imaging department, which includes, C.T., Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, MRI and Ultrasound services. Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activities of the department. Facilitates communications and serves as the liaison between the employees and the Hospital Administration. Must have ARRT and/or RDMS and/or SNM certification. Possess or be eligible for CRT license. Managerial or supervisory experience with radiology services in a hospital setting is desired. Respiratory Therapist - The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing medically prescribed respiratory care programs designed to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. The RT is expected to provide respiratory care to all patients across the life span. Additionally, he/she must be able to perform diagnostic testing. Current license in the State of California required. Minimum of 3 years recent acute care experience preferred. Ultrasound/Echo Technician - Responsible for ultrasound examination utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment. Provides direct patient care to patients of all ages, including transportation services. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Assists in the orientation of new employees. Position qualifications include satisfactory completion of formal training in ultrasound. Maintains current RDMS certification (or eligibility for) and CPR certification. Has excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and families, all radiology staff, referring physicians, nursing, scheduling, volunteers, vendors, and administration who may or may not be under physical and/or emotional stress. Ability to maintain confidential information standards. As well as experience with a variety of technical skils specifically in ultrasound.
