Employment - Non Licensed Medical Positions


Human Resources Manager- requires a full range of experience in day to day HR operations in a hospital setting. Our community hospital has 500+ employees with a record for service and committment. We require five to ten years of experience in payroll, government and regulatory reporting and benefits, with at least two years at the management level. Experience and proficiency with HRMIS systems and performance evaluation models is preferred. Team and Career building experience would benefit. A bachelors degree is preferred. We are looking for the right person for a busy caring hospital..

Surgical Technician – Under the direction of the registered nurse, the Surgical Technician functions as the scrub person during surgical intervention and technical assistant during GI/pulmonary endoscopy procedures.  Manages the sterile field and/or other technical instrumentation and equipment.  Must have a minimum 1 year experience as a scrub person in an acute care hospital or outpatient facility. 

Nursing Assistant-Full time, per diem, part time– Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Vocational Nurse the Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care.  Must possess current BLS certification or obtain it within six (6) months of hire.  Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Medical Assistant- For Clinic The medical assistant provides supportive duties to the practitioner within a well defined scope of practice to provide medical care to all patients treated in this office. Assists with breath alcohol test and drug screening needs of the clinic. High school diploma, certified medical assistant and, 1 year clinical experience is preferred. Needs a current BCLS certification. Also an injection certificate, and a drug and alcohol screening certification within 6 months.

Housekeeper-per diem To maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas to promote sanitary, orderly, and attractive conditions. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous janitorial and hospital experience preferred. Also the ability to read, write, and effectively communicate orally in English  

Credit and Collections Clerk-also known as a “Collector”, is responsible for billing monthly statements to “self-pay” accounts. The Collector is also responsible for timely follow-up on assigned accounts with the goal of bringing them to a paid resolution.  The Collector will document account activity into the hospital system.  The Collector will also make adjustments on accounts according to Hospital and Patient Financial Services policy.

Emergency Department Tech-full time, part time, per diem - Perform various patient and non-patient care duties under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse or other RN. Must maintain BLS for HCP certification and a current EMT-1 certification as required by North Coast EMS guidelines.

Monitor Tech- Responsible for the continuous observation and monitoring of cardiac rhythms for all critical care and telemetry patients. Responsible for the detection of cardiac arrthymia’s and communication of changes to the registered nurse. And responsible for the interpretation and documentation of cardiac rhythms per department standards.
