Employment - Non Licensed Medical PositionsCNA/Nurse's Aide – Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Vocational Nurse the Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care. Must possess current BLS certification or obtain it within six (6) months of hire. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Dietary Aide (Per Diem) - Under general supervision, the dietary aide prepares the patients’ menus taking into consideration all diet restrictions, food preferences, and any tolerances or allergies. Maintains the patients diet rand, inspects patents trays for accuracy and prepares and delivers any late trays between meals and snacks. Housekeeper - The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas to promote sanitary, orderly, and attractive conditions. Previous janitorial and hospital experience preferred. Medical Staff Coordinator - Coordinates all Medical Staff activities, assists the Medical Staff in supporting the organization's mission, and acts as liaison between the Medical Staff and Administration within the parameters established by the administrator and Medical Staff officers. Provides administrative and secretarial support services to the Medical Staff; prepares agendas, takes and transcribes minutes of all Medical Staff committee and departmental meetings, processes applications for staff privileges, verifies credentials and reappointments of the Medical Staff as well as the Allied Health Professional Staff, maintains credential files. Accepts responsibility, displays initiative, exercises judgement and accountability, and preserves confidentiality of Medical Staff and Hospital Administration business. Minimum of 2 years of college preferably with medical or business emphasis. 3-5 years experience in office management, hospital or medical office preferred. Must be proficient in computer applications, organizational skills, taking and transcribing meeting minutes. Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative relationship with Medical Staff and Hospital personnel. Excellent communication in person and by phone. Must obtain Medical Staff Coordinator Certification or pass certified Medical Staff Coordinator exam within three years of employment. Plant Ops Worker –(Part-Time) Under the direction of the Manager of Plant Operations, performs the various tasks required to operate, maintain, and repair the physical plant. Previous experience in hospital maintenance preferred. Radiology Ward Clerk (Part-time) - Responsible for non-technical support, primarily clerical. Technical staff and Radiologist assistance as needed. Must be a HS grad or have GED as well as basic computer skills. Clerical experience in a medical setting is desired. Storekeeper – The Storekeeper maintains a smooth, orderly and efficient area for shipping, receiving, and distribution of supplies; and is responsible for all shipping, receiving, stocking and distribution of hospital supplies. Materials management and/or accounts payable preferred.
